I've pointed out several times how the “information” presented in the media and by politicians on the subjects of guns and violence is clearly designed to serve a political agenda and not to inform or educate. Those who are experts with guns and the dynamics of violent encounters see this propaganda as criminally stupid, but of course we are almost never allowed to speak to a national audience.
