The start of a very good analysis

I just encountered something that I thought I should share.  This guy seems to understand a lot of the ideologically-driven misrepresentations in the media.

The only possible weakness I can find in his analysis is that I believe the UK doesn't separate out aggravated assault from simple assault the way it's traditionally done in the US.  I may be wrong on this, as it's been a couple years since I studied UK crime statistics.  Still, his point is clear.
